Created for the current @faultine_artspace exhibit 10xTEN, featuring 100 Bay Area women artists.

Intentions poured into this piece include: the honoring of community care, inspiration from Indigenous teachings about the Three Sisters, and the reclamation of giving gratitude when involving Mama Earth in our creations.

Modeled after Matisse's dancer series and his goal of conveying joy, this piece questions: can women of color experience pure joy without a sense of fear? Or having to look over our shoulders?
