This mural is dedicated to Bay Area Pinays, sisterhood and how Pinays have contributed to San Francisco historically and today.
The mural features 7 Pinay Ancestors whose impact as activists, artists and academics continues to reverberate the bay and beyond. These ancestors include: Pacita Abad, Helen Toribio, Gwen Angelica Agustin-Nodora, Victoria Manalo Draves, Violeta “Bullet” Marasigan, Dawn Mabalon, and Joyce Manalo.
